About Us

The CMRS is an organization devoted to model railroading. However as a modeler one cannot help but become a student of the history surrounding the railroads and the territories that they served. As a railroad modeler one also has the opportunity to do carpentry or electrical work or even practice their photography skills. The main goal however is to portray, in miniature, railroading at its best. The model railroad is an excellent learning tool as well as entertainment for the young and young at heart.

Come share in the fun with model railroad enthusiasts of all ages. Our organization is not devoted to just the hardcore hobbyist. If you are interested in trains, model or otherwise, we welcome you to join our club.
